Compensation & Benefits Specialist

Job Description
  • Analyzes costs and competitive trends in total cash / total remuneration and identifies the organization's position
  • Prepares analysis about market trends, the market competitiveness of the company, determines the consequences to the company and develops organizational solutions which are in line with corporate compensation policies and guidelines
  • Prepares data for/ and participate in different salary surveys
  • Proactively identifies problem areas, develops proposals, engages stakeholders and drives these changes to implementation
  • Actively cooperation with HR Business Partners and Recruitment team
  • Shares market updates with the relevant stakeholders
  • Acts as an advisor to the HR Business Partners, Recruitment team and senior managers

Cafeteria and other benefits:
  • Analyzes costs and competitive trends in benefits programs and identifies the organization's position
  • Owner of the Cafeteria benefit program 
  • Manages the sub-contractor providing the on-line Cafeteria benefit system
  • Manages sub-contractors providing benefits for employees through the Cafeteria system
  • Continuously develops the benefits system to ensure maximum satisfaction of the employees
  • Provides inputs related to the benefits to the payroll team for the monthly payroll closing
  • Ensures maximum legal compliance of the Cafeteria benefit process
  • Prepares and renews the Cafeteria policy of the company in line with the changes in legislation
  • Keeps the associates updated regarding the changes in the benefits
  • Manages the Cafeteria benefits declaration periods
  • Other administrative activities related to the cafeteria and other benefits

Other tasks, responsibilities:
  • Proactive benchmarking
  • Participating in meetings and trainings, including external conferences as well and implement learnt best practices
  • Participating in and providing information/data for audits when needed
  • Run communication and information sharing sessions in the above mentioned topic based on need for the relevant audiance (e.g. managers, all employees etc.)
  • Other tasks that are related to the position and are assigned by Head, HR Center or Excellence and Head of HR 
  • Participating, driving ad hoc projects assigned to the position holder
  • Back up HR colleagues based on the HR team’s back up plan
  • College or university degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR with Compensation and Benefits focus
  • Good understanding of laws regulating benefits
  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Fluent English knowledge
  • Fluent Hungarian knowledge
