Our partner is looking for a talented Application Operation to work in their group.

Job function:

• The project is operating a number of parallel (independent) Development  
• Integration Testing
• Acceptance Testing environments with separate release
• change windows and changing requirements on data mention
• job scheduling and different integration
• interfaces with other surrounding third-party systems

Tasks:

• Task is to operate/monitor
• Oversee the development/test environments within a project mode in a development environment the for the 10+ environments e-2-e (2 in a box model with Avaloq) – mainly Oracle based software

Description

• Establishing and ensuring that appropriate Transition and Transformation Methodology (TTM) ITIL processes are used
• followed responsible for ensuring that resources, timelines, and the overall quality of the process are all considered and accounted for.
• Managing leveraged DB delivery resources in nearshore
• facilitating the handover.
• Intensive collaboration with partners (Avaloq)
• Work in a project/consulting mode

Education and Experience Required:

• 5-10 years in application operation of oracle-based software (or similar activities)
• 3+ years Project Experience
• Ideally background in financial services (optional) / German Language (optional)
• Know how in Operating System basis – Linux/ Unix and Windows
• Know how in Middleware - Tomcat, Apache, WebSphere
• Experience in application installation and application configuration

Location

• Düsseldorf 3-4 d/week mandatory
