Accounting Manager

Introduction

Our partner, the Shared Service Center for a global full-line vehicle manufacturer company provides a full range of accounting services to its subsidiaries in all major European languages. They help to create and develop the culture of their growing offices in an idea-lead environment, where the challenges and innovation lead the way.

Tasks

Prepare recs on equity, financial assets (FVTOCI equity securities, derivatives, etc) related accounts
Help out in validating reconciliations on the full scope of the BS where the team needs support.
Support in auditing our existing recons from financial point of view meaning
Identifying what the correct external/internal source is to recon certain processes/accounts
Compare with our as is backups, identify where we need to improve
Help the people converting the recons/recon procedures and educate them along the way.
Document delegate in documentation of all this (document what the scheme is on certain accounts, which IAS/IFRS/ISAB/IFRIC and which internal policy of ours applies for that process, what should the recon method be)
This person would also pick up the BS recon related requests coming from my FD and do the countermeasures
