Introduction
Our partner, the Shared Service Center for a global full-line vehicle manufacturer company provides a full range of accounting services to its subsidiaries in all major European languages. They help to create and develop the culture of their growing offices in an idea-lead environment, where the challenges and innovation lead the way.
Tasks
  • Leads Accounts Payables for the partner Center Europe GmbH and supports offshore SSC team in India (RNTBCI)
  • Control incoming invoice processing (bookings, clearings)
  • Control travel reimbursements procedure (bookings, clearings)
  • Responsible for timely payment processing including manual payments
  • Responsible for invoice related topics (vendor queries, budget holder queries) in conjunction with offshore SSC team in India (RNTBCI)
  • Handle invoicing related topics (mismatch, reminders, approval)
  • Manage vendor / employee master data changes (bank account change, blockings etc.)
  • Coordinate GR/IR reconciliation & clearing
  • Support the preparation of the monthly closing
  • Work closely with internal audit and external auditors 
  • Responsible for certain AP reports eg Vendor reconciliation , AP ageing report monitoring 
  • Compliance with the J-SOX guidelines and preparation of the corresponding documentation
  • Coordination, control and monitoring of projects like PROREX (purchasing system), FBT (SAP system)
Expectations
  • Relevant professional experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable sub-ledger accounting
  • At least 3 to 5 years professional experience in these fields
  • Completed further training to become an accountant or completion of an equivalent course of study; if necessary, readiness for prompt training and examination to become an accountant
  • Closing security in the sub-ledgers and interfaces to the general ledgers
  • Strong personality with pronounced initiative and problem-solving orientation
  • Good analytical skills and business English knowledge
  • Advanced level of MS Office knowledge (specifically MS Excel & Power Point)
  • Advanced ERP SAP knowledge
  • German and English knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal skills enabling effective communication at various levels inside and outside the organization
  • Strong interpersonal, management and customer service skills building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Ability to work in a matrix, multicultural and fast-paced environment
