Product Control Digital Governance Lead

Tasks
  • Learn and obtain knowledge of the respective digital tools; develop digital tool(s) specialties
  • Lead Product Control Digital Transformation governance forums (e.g., PC PAC; Bi-weekly GFTS, etc.)
  • Manage the UC approval and ensure governance process is in place
  • Coordinate and lead prioritization of use cases based on EUC remediation, benefits, and CAP/regulatory requirements
  • Manage and track use cases against success criteria/benefits (FTE time savings, EUC…)
  • Forecast of use cases and budgeting of resources
  • Work closely Finance Transformation and Digital Development team on delivery of uses cases as per the release calendar
  • Work with Product Control teams, Use Case Owners, Technology, and other Finance teams in supporting use case creations and providing status updates
  • Communicate program updates to the Product Control (e.g., Newsletter, governance updates, etc.)
  • Create and update governance forum and program materials (PowerPoint presentations), minutes and PC Digital Program PBI Dashboards
  • Work closely with Finance Transformation (FT) in providing use case inventory status, benefits & KPIs
  • Provide Digital Program updates to SLT and respective regional/global heads (i.e., Achievements, Benefits, Digital UC Roadmap)
  • Work with UC owners in obtaining UC details & status
  • Identify any risks regarding changes and develop a strategy to overcome or address them
  • Facilitate the management of dependencies, risk, and issue
  • Oversee any IT issues related to the initiatives
  • Provide timely and appropriate escalation, identify, and highlight concerns around the initiatives
  • Act as a key member of the team defining and building out training programs for Global Product Control
  • Communicate strategies and objectives with relevant teams and colleagues
  • Coordinate digital use case demos with global product control and key stakeholders
  • Project manage the Digital online use case tool and Appian use case management tool
  • Participate and lead Appian UAT testing and Use Case Migration
  • Lead user engagement and participation initiatives andpromote Digital Program and Citizen lead initiatives
  • Maintenance of UC user manuals & other docs provided by Digital Development team and Use Case Owners
  • Tracking cross-functional activities and ensuring consistency in the processes and methodologies that are deployed
  • Acting as a key member of the team defining and building out training programs for Power Users.
  • Supporting the various Product Control teams globally to improve their understanding of the impact of emerging technologies and industry trends and provide recommendations and solutions for how to adopt new standards and requirements
Expectations
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Finance (similar role is an advantage), or a similar working environment
  • University/College degree in Finance/Accounting is an advantage but not a must and we are open to other majors
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to support fast decision making
  • Strong governance, project management and organization skills
  • A high caliber individual with strong communication and presentation skills, both written and oral. Able to deal with a range of senior/junior staff across several areas
  • Self-starter who proactively seeks to improve existing controls and streamline processes both from a tactical short-term viewpoint, and from a strategic long-term perspective
  • Great interpersonal skills to develop and leverage a broad network, plus the ability to lead and motivate the wider team. Seen as a role model
  • Strong innovation mind-set and the ability to deliver meaningful change
  • Strong PC skills in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong control mindset and understands key controls environment and governance needs
  • Collaboration with the respective business partners and Product Control managers, respective Finance teams, Technology, RM, FRI, Controls, and Valuation teams to drive core capabilities initiatives
