Tasks
  • Develop standards and procedures for SAP Security and user access controls
  • Optimize and automate role and user access management process
  • Manage issue resolution on authorization service requests and enhancements for SAP live units
  • Ensure stable business process continuation and improvements
  • Solution delivery in SAP roll out projects
  • Ensure that tickets assigned to the team are followed up, tracked and delivered according to the SLA
  • Assisting to architect and ensure business and technical teams in developing concepts of Segregation of Duties and Critical Access
  • Assist the architect in design, build and implement new innovations and new technologies on authorization area
  • End to end accountable for the tickets assigned to the team are delivered on the best quality and timely manner
  • Aim for harmonization of processes and tools across landscapes
  • Proactive system improvement proposals and initiatives
  • Preventive business process support 
  • Build up the appropriate capacity management serving customers from different regions aiming to keep cost down
  • Review future project and operations support need and develop resource base accordingly
  • Aim to build pool concept using internal and external resources on an optimized level
  • Utilize in - or outsourced delivery model depending on financial and capacity needs
  • Continuously develop and monitor the major KPIs to measure the performance and quality in the AMS service delivery areas
  • Take over projects and provide BAU AMS and consultancy services according to the standard processes and SLAs
  • Drive improvements within the operational service structure to achieve better customer satisfactions and to reduce cost
  • Create and monitor authorization service budget during the entire year and make necessary steps if needed
  • People management
  • Manage and control all employees within the roles and authorization area
  • Setup & maintain organization structure for optimized work division and service delivery
  • Delegate work within organization to all sub levels
  • Organize team meetings and ensure right assignment of tasks
  • Ensure team skill set is up to date via appropriate trainings
  • Conduct people performance management processes
  • Ensure backups of key / critical service areas exits
  • Monitor employee spending during business travels
Expectations
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in a comparable role within SAP (ECC6 / S4 Hana) with hands-on application management or project organization.
  • Experience in SAP Authorization
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • IT /Business Degree or Equivalent
  • SAP certification is beneficial
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written)
  • Experience with remote/dotted line management of staff in multiple countries with different work culture
  • Knowledge of basic change management procedures within IT (ITIL)
Advantageous
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
