Job Description

Software Project Manager with English and German

 

The main responsibilities are the following:

  • Identify goals and project delivery clearly
  • Define all activities necessary to acquire project goals and objectives
  • Identify needed members for project team, resource planning on a regular basis, while managing and controlling project work
  • Identify prime risks and limitations within project plan
  • Evaluate and determine plan variance from project performance
  • Collect and present performance information related to the projects, quality assurance, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met
  • Identify probable impact to associates, clients and shareholders
  • Perform with subject matter experts all through organization to gather entire business needs required to attain project goals
  • Familiar with project controlling and financial management (analysis/forecasts, manage project budget
  • Conduct change throughout project inclusive of schedule, scope and team membership
  • Collaborate effectively with infrastructure associates across entire business units along with management levels
  • Ensure to capture, prioritize and solve project problems in organized manner
  • Provide guidance and advice to other Project Managers, business managers and key stakeholders
  • Regular reporting to the Project Steering Committee, provide regular KPI reporting

 

Required skill set and experience:

 

  • At least 5 years of experience in a SW development Project Manager role
  • PMP or PRINCE2 Certification
  • Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management experience
  • Ability to run multiple projects maintaining quality and control
  • Demonstrate examples of similar successful positions in the past; experience in multiyear program in a multinational environment
  • Advantage: Experience in system integration / SW development related projects
  • Be highly collaborative with the current team, management structure and business leaders
  • Demonstrate a very high level of customer service and empathy to the customer issues delivering solutions while working within budget
  • Negotiate with suppliers to provide best balance of quality, service and price
  • Demonstrate a ‘Can-Do’ attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in English and German is a must
