Tasks
  • Leads efforts to utilize Agile (SCRUM, Safe, Kanban, Lean) and works with teams and organizations to help them adopt Agile methodologies, practices, and principles. This may include introducing Agile concepts, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and coaching teams on Agile best practices
  • Executes Agile (SCRUM, Safe, Kanban, Lean) delivery, works closely with teams to help them improve their Agile practices, facilitates problem-solving, and guides them through the Agile process
  • Provides guidance on how to develop and maintain Agile artifacts such as product backlogs, user stories, and sprint backlogs
  • Manages a portfolio of Agile-based process transformations by partnering with Business Owners and Technical development teams
  • Propagates Agile mindsets for all levels: from team to executives
  • Provides Agile training to teams, stakeholders, and leadership on Agile concepts, practices, and principles. This may include training on Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban, Agile values and principles, and Agile development practices
  • Performs Agile maturity assessments and creates action plans for various groups/organizations needing Agile coaching
  • Represents the needs of the business, and functions on an ongoing basis to drive the expected improvements
  • Enables strategic decision-making and strategic alignment, and communicates program status, issues, and solutions to achieve alignment with the top level of the business, function, or region
  • Leads internal or external programs with significant complexity and risk, provides feedback on programs, and conducts regular retrospectives.
  • Fosters a collaborative and team-oriented culture by encouraging teamwork, facilitating communication, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement
  • Identifies and resolves issues that may arise during the Agile process, such as conflicts within the team, communication breakdowns, or unclear requirements
  • Measures and tracks progress using Agile metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts, and cycle time. They will use this information to help teams identify areas for improvement and adjust their processes accordingly
  • Manages vendor identification and selection process when a vendor is required
  • Stays up to date with emerging trends and best practices in Agile methodologies and makes recommendations on how to incorporate them into the organization's Agile practices
  • Facilitates meetings/workshops and consults the organizers on the best approach to take to reach the desired outcome, using where appropriate the compatible Agile practices/ tools
Expectations
  • BA or BS degree in Business Management, Communications, Marketing or Computer Science
  • 10 years of experience in Project management
  • 5 years’ experience working with Agile methodologies and deep understanding of Agile values and principles
  • PMP/ SCRUM/ Safe certification and 2 years of experience managing SCRUM projects
  • Proven experience in utilizing Design Thinking and Change Management techniques to drive value for customers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  •  Proven experience working in globally distributed virtual teams
  • Proficiency in English is a must


Knowledge & skills:


  • Agile Coaching and Mentoring
  • Superior communication skills (i.e., written, verbal, presentation), leadership, consulting, influence, and negotiation skills. Mastery in English and local language as well as other languages as required
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the company top to bottom, including most senior company management.
  • Excellent program management, problem-solving, and analytical skills, and the ability to execute a value stream within the scope of overall strategies
  • Ability to lead complex process improvements using industry-standard quality improvement tools and concepts and has a thorough understanding of change management
