Tasks
  • Responsible for the execution of operational processes across the end to end sales cycle within a defined function which may include quote and configuration, pricing, bid/win proposal, quota setting, crediting, and measurement of sales compensation, services engagement and contract management, and order management
  • Measures, reviews and analyzes for efficiency and effectiveness of defined processes
  • Accountable for operational performance based metrics and agreed upon service level objectives/agreements as well as ensuring adherence to HP policies and compliance with applicable legal requirements

  • Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert
  • Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods
  • Works on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
  • Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives
  • Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives
  • May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees
  • Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies
  • Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients
  • First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred
  • Typically 6-10 years of related experience, preferably in supply chain, customer service, procurement or financial management
  • Typically 2-4 years of experience supporting global/regional accounts or large, complex domestic accounts
  • Project management experience preferred
