Tasks
  • Category Development Strategy
  • Co-responsible for the pricing, promotional, and assortment strategy within the tasks assigned by Category Managers / Senior Category Managers
  • KPI: Category growth, achieving the defined category role
  • Implementation of Strategic Assumptions for Product Categories
  • Ensures the implementation of category assumptions by verifying the needs of the given product category, obtaining commercial offers, and continuously executing the accepted strategy, including the promotion strategy.
  • KPI: Quality and quantity of offers, timeliness, category growth, margin mass increase, order growth
  • Commercial Negotiations
  • Responsible for achieving the negotiation goal by preparing and gathering analyses regarding the category and supplier, leading or co-leading negotiations, and maintaining ongoing contact with suppliers.
  • KPI: Improvement of purchasing conditions affecting the category margin, delivery execution to CL, level of losses at DS
  • Monitoring Product Category Results
  • Responsible for monitoring the results of product categories, the amount of losses on products within the category, and product availability at DS. Prepares analyses and reports related to settlements with suppliers.
  • KPI: Quality and timeliness of analyses and reports
  • Market Monitoring
  • Responsible for monitoring the assortment and prices in competitor stores and own stores.
  • KPI: Quality
  • Administrative Actions
  • Responsible for creating the Product Card, Promotional Plan, and maintaining phone and email contact with suppliers.
  • KPI: Quality and timeliness
Expectations
  • Master's degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities
  • Proven experience in Category Management in the retail industry
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a high level of proficiency in English
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
