Project Manager (Software Development) - Agile

Tasks
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan encompassing software development, cloud migration, and integration effort 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Break down project work into manageable user stories and prioritize them using Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
  • Facilitate and participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, and sprint reviews
  • Manage project scope and ensure adherence to Agile principles of iterative development and continuous improvement
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and track project burn down rate
  • Maintain clear and concise project documentation, including user stories, product backlog, and sprint burndown charts
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment
  • Communicate project status and progress updates to stakeholders regularly
  • Identify and remove roadblocks that hinder team progress
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure high-quality software is delivered on time and within budget
  • Stay up-to-date on Agile methodologies and best practices
Expectations
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a Project Manager in software development
  • Proven experience leading software development projects using Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in software development lifecycles (SDLC) is a plus
  • Experience using project management tools (e.g., Jira) is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of software developers
