Tasks

Role purpose:

The purpose of an Application/Integration Architect is to design and implement software solutions that align with business goals and objectives
The architect is responsible for creating application and integration architectures, managing the technical teams involved in the development process, and ensuring that the solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Responsibilities:

Design and implement application and integration architectures that align with business goals and objectives
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that solutions are in-line with strategic directions in other fields (infrastructure, security, cloud)
Provide technical guidance and leadership to development/implementation teams, ensuring that they follow best practices
Conduct technical assessments of software solutions to identify potential issues and recommend improvements
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure that the software solutions meet their needs
Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Manage the technical aspects of software development projects, including project planning, risk management, and issue resolution
