Introduction

Tasks
  • Work on/develop Agile Service Desk solution components (Code, Develop, Test, Pilot and Monitor these)
  • Provide training for any developed automation solution to the users
  • Assist in technical/operation/maintenance related questions related to developed components
  • Ensure that developed components work as designed and provide expected benefits
  • Participate in production deployment of developed components (may require late hours or Sunday work)
  • Close interlock with Agile Service Desk/AWS Connect contacts and teams
  • Active participation in daily SCRUM calls
  • Participation in sprint planning sessions
  • Participation in Agile Service Desk/AWS Connect development forums
  • Deliver all items planned for particular sprint timely and without flags
  • Track and document development steps in the required format in JIRA
  • Provide accurate and clean code and related documentation
  • Participate in the overall Release and Deployment Management Process
  • Provide operational acceptance test cases
  • Participate in bug troubleshooting and resolution process for both self developed code and components developed by peers
  • Providing information and knowledge sharing
Expectations
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • AWS core components working experience
  • Experience with scripting and development languages and frameworks (node.js and React is a must, Python is nice to have) 
  • Tools experience (Git, CI/CD, REST APIs) 
  • Understanding of relational databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, etc. 
  • Understanding of the ITO & RUN Delivery as a Business Model
  • Knowledge of agile working method
  • Experience with Jira
Advantageous
  • Experience with global multi location customers
  • Analytical thinking, detail-oriented approach
  • Ability to consistently apply quality standards by following processes and content creation guidelines and reviewing the content
  • Good communication skills- spoken and written
  • Experience with global multi location customers
