Tasks

Performs tests, discovers new technologies, develops ideas under the supervision of a more experienced engineer and/or architect
Has up to date knowledge of the latest technologies, manufacturing and industrial standards in his/her own special area
Performs testing, reviews new technologies
Makes improvement suggestions
Acts as consultant in projects and be direct contact with our customers
Proactively communicates his/her ideas, when he/she has any, to the project team, and is able to present his/her
Presents a technical solution to the end customer
Able to create complex calculations for presales
Support sales team under the negotiations
Execution of proof of concepts and implementation of the gained method and technical skills

Understanding of complex client-server applications based on Cobol and Java / DB2
Extensive knowledge: Basis z/OS: JES, TSO, JCL, ISPF, Scheduler, OMVS Knowledge of z/Linux and Client Server systems
Databases: IBM DB2, PostgreSQL
Programming languages: REXX, SQL
Projekt management
German language knowledge: fluently
English language knowledge: fluently
