By joining the Hydro network team as a project engineer, your responsibility will be to implement network solutions based on designs that has been created by the network architecture team. 

  • You will need to make sure that the security and governance rules are being followed though out the implementation.
  • The work would be a hands on type of activity where you will need to configure network devices that are being managed in house, and will need to manage changes for devices that are being outsourced to 3rd party providers.
  • You will need to tailor standard designs to meet individual business needs, and post support project related issues through out the transition to network operations.
  • The job listed here is a project delivery engineer, which is neither a design or an operational role, your competence is mainly needed to make sure that projects are being delivered professionally and on time, however by the nature of the company occasionally you might be asked to carry out either design or operation type of work helping out teams that might struggle with resources.

We are looking for a self-driving personality, who can work independently after the tasks has been assigned. 

  • English is a must both verbally and written. 
  • At least 5 years’ experience in network operations / project team in a multinational environment experience with WAN, LAN (WLAN), ISE, ACS, DHCP, DNS and IPAM, Cloud proxies 
  • Strong IT technical skills proven in a multinational environment 
  • Knowledge of Cisco WLC and ISE equipments is an advantage 
  • Extensive Palo Alto Firewall knowledge is an advantage 
  • Extensive LAN knowledge is an advantage 
  • Knowledge of Windows based DHCP system is an advantage 
  • Fluent English is a must (verbal, written)
  • Acting as Subject Matter Expert/Engineer resource in projects 
  • Experience with ITIL change management processes 
  • Open minded for changes and new technologies
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Experience in IT Shared Services environment is preferred Education Bsc. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related area is preferred but not essential Licensing/Certification CCNP certification or equivalent knowledge is required
  • Experience with Azure and AWS cloud networking is an advantage 
  • Any people management experience is an advantage.
