Tasks
  • Source plan execution from selection, negotiation, contracting, onboarding and life cycle management.
  • Focuses on excellence in execution
  • Develop and execute the category strategies in scope.
  • Ensures cost, availability, innovation and quality within the sourcing plan creation and execution.
  • Executes global supplier selection alongside strategy, requirements, supplier base development and identification of new suppliers.
  • Responsible for efficient RFx process from selection through onboarding according to the agreed strategies.
  • Leading price negotiations, contract and life cycle management with suppliers.
  • Ensures compliance with Procurement Process, SOX and other statutory requirements within own Category.
  • Ensures compliance to Supplier Portfolio within own Category and in alignment with Project procurement Manager also for country/project.
  • Liaise with Strategic Procurement Manager for the anticipation and handling of changes based on supply market dynamics.
  • Manages supplier performance.
  • Accountable for agreed KPIs and their reporting.
  • Leads purchasing and supply management activities and resources for multiple areas of spend within Category Group.
  • Works with other organizations to ensure that the material or service meets pre-determined quality, technology, supply and cost criteria.
  • He/she provides overall guidance of supplier activities and stakeholder engagement, plus creation or contribution to Company wide supplier specific Procurement strategies.
