Tasks
- Working in the WPS software distribution team
- Distribute applications and manage the software distribution infrastructure.
- Integrate, testing and distribution of software packages in production environment
- Ensure packaging/distribution environment runs smoothly both on server and client side
- Maintenance of the distribution server
- Image creation and management
- Solve deployment issues
- Work closely with virtual team members
Expectations
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems - policies / registry / filesystem
- Experience in remote administration of Windows XP/7/8 clients in a domain environment
- Understanding of network technologies and topology
- Skills in analyzing software flaws with common and advanced Microsoft Tools and accessories
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn
- Customer-focused approach
- Intermediate English language knowledge in writing and speaking
Advantageous
- German language skill
- Experience in Enterprise Windows client system environment operations
- Knowledge of application distribution technologies (SMS, SCCM, Altiris, Netinstall, Landesk, Tivoli, ZenWorks)
- Knowledge of using databases (MS-SQL)
- Packaging experience
