Senior Operations Manager

  • Execute Service Management for the assigned applications by managing SLAs, handling customer escalations (On call or onsite), presenting regular reports to customers, adhering to contractual terms of customers and dealing with Technical teams in Hungary, Germany and India. Look into technical details and guide teams if required with experience.
  • Co-ordinate with geographically & culturally distributed teams - EU (Hungary, Germany), India to ensure smoother execution of Assigned activities.
  • Experience in project cost budget management, project scope, highlight risks, missing elements and govern through the complete lifecycle of the project.
  • Coordinate with Customers and Vendor Operations teams (Service Managers, Infra Ops etc.) as required.
  • Pleasant personality with people-management skills, strong business orientation, analysis and problem-solving skills, and negotiation skills are vital.
  • Experience in presenting and articulating right information (status/ metrics/risks/ mitigations/ issues) to all the relevant stakeholders.
  • Creative problem solving – following an issue through to its logical
  • European citizenship / PR with eligibility to apply for anti-sabotage clearance.

IT skills (in details with required levels):

  • Good expertise and experience across managing large programs in IT System Operations.
  • Good knowledge in Telecom domain Architecture (Network Design, Network Operations & Management)
  • Previous experience in leading large teams, Should have managed large teams of size 80-100+ size in the past.
  • Proven capability in contributing to the strategic direction to IT Systems Operations.
  • Good knowledge in Wire line / Wireless / Data Circuits / IP based networks including legacy as well as next generation networks.
  • Exposure to OSS Processes and functions such Service Problem management, Service Quality management and Customer Experience Management
  • Experience of working with Multi culture and Geographically distributed teams.
  • Excellent Communication and presentation skills. Should be comfortable making presentation to Executive leadership of the client
  • Should be resilient to handle challenges in the project and have good stress management skills.
