Tasks
  • Responsible and independent execution of 2nd level support for applications, services and infrastructure.
  • Write step-by-step processes, solutions, and ticket updates
  • Tracking of Service Level Agreements and Service KPIs for the responsible services, monitors their compliance and reacts proactively to impending violations of the target values
  • Independent identification, agreement and implementation of proactive optimization measures for incident avoidance within engineering areas
  • Manage SLAs, handling customer escalations (on call or onsite), presenting regular reports to customers, adhering to contractual terms of customers and coordinating with technical teams in Hungary, Germany, India.
Expectations
  • 2+ years of experience in Application Support/ Operations Analyst in maintaining Service Assurance applications.
  • University or College degree
  • Experience in OSS Service Assurance, Customer Experience Management, Network Management.
  • Experience in telecom fault management domains. Having experience in IBM Netcool product or any similar.
  • Experience in telecom performance management. Experience with Infovista, Parageno, TNPM, CA or similar tools.
  • Good knowledge of system integration interfaces like SNMP, Syslog, JMS, SOAP and API
  • Knowledge of the networking and protocols: DHCP, SNMP, SMTP, POP3, HTTPS, ARP, DNS, NTP, (S)FTP(S); and ability to capture & read & analyze IP packets
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and Unix/Linux with experience in Shell/Perl scripting.
  • Experience in working with multicultural and geographically distributed teams.
