Tasks
  • Working with the Application Engineer, acts a subject matter expert for areas of technical design within one or more applications/modules
  • Review code development (update sets) by team members, before migration to DevTest, ensuring that the PDXC SN Development Framework is followed
  • Promote update sets to production environment and should be able to handle any conflicts that arise during the process of migration
  • Calling out conflicts in development (or proposed development) with the Big Rules
  • Engaging with the GTLs, whenever there are doubts about architectural or design decisions, via the Teams channel, PDXC SN Technical Leads
  • Act as a point of contact for Service Catalog managers when they have any technical questions
  • Documenting within Stories any key design considerations, including confirmation of discussions, and approvals, from the GTL team
  • Granting admin access to instances in the development stack, only after business approval of a RITM request
  • Mentoring and guiding junior development team members
  • Look at possibilities of automation wherever possible to reduce manual efforts during Catalog maintenance fulfilment request
  • Explore continuously on how catalog data load for accounts can be automated using various techniques. i.e., load sheets, XML’s etc.
Expectations
  • 3 years Technical Leadership role for any software development, either in application or infrastructure 
  • 5 years ServiceNow Development experience 
  • Experience with promoting update sets to other environments and performing analysis as to conflicts prior to promotion
  • ServiceNow Sys Admin certified - Mandatory (must be valid for latest ServiceNow release) 
  • ServiceNow Domain Separation Training
  • Proficient in JavaScript (JS) and familiar with JS Best Practices
  • Should have very good knowledge in ServiceNow Workflows and Flow Designer concepts
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow REST API and custom Integration using the same
  • ServiceNow Advanced Scripting or equivalent training
  • Excellent communication skills as the Tech lead will need to interact with teams across the globe and also with various account specific catalog managers
  • Preferable certifications: o ServiceNow Certified Application Developer o ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM
