For most of us, 2020 will not be remembered by its many successes, celebrations and prideful moments, but there is no reason to be ashamed of course. This year, it was the effectiveness of responses that allowed organizations and companies to be more visible.
We felt we had risen to the challenge quite quickly, but we were curious about the opinions of others in the business, so we were not afraid to present our ideas and projects to various competition committees. And good thing we did! There’s hardly anything better than getting some tangible positive feedback on your successes and creativity.
When the epidemic broke out, it all came down to first reactions. We seem to have overcome the first hurdle well, as we received a Special Responsible and Empathic Employer Award in the “HR Communication Response to the Epidemic” category at the 2020 HRKOMM Awards with our MOVE @ Home - Support on the Move competition.
Reconciling work and private life has received more emphasis than usual, and our solution to this, MOVE @ Home, has been awarded by HRBEST at their Shortlist competition on Development & Retention.
We soon realized that not only did we have to deal with the situation with new ideas, but we also needed to take a closer look at our existing processes. That’s why we were determined to subject ourselves to the qualification procedures of external organizations who know very well what a good workplace is like. Luckily, we did not come to regret this decision either, as we got the Responsible Employer of the Year award from OFA and also earned the For Acceptable Business Culture qualification.
It's just the cherry on top, plus it's probably a result of all the above that we also bagged the Dreamjobs Loveable Jobs award in the SME category.
All of this speaks for itself, but it is certain that we will not be sitting on our laurels, but rather continue to work to make this list even longer this time next year.
